The Tropical Aquatic Ecology research group was created as a strategy to strengthen research processes associated with aquatic ecosystems in tropical areas. Created and led by Jimena Bohórquez-Herrera, it establishes the work plan with a view to strengthening the integration between research, social impact and the training of students of the Biology program of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences of the University of Cartagena.
